When A Co-Worker Acts Like Mama
I’ve previously referred to the “Dear Prudence” column in Slate Magazine. (Click here, for example.) This time, I bring you a video clip from Prudie dealing with a younger employee who has an older co-worker who acts like the younger employee’s mother. One thing I like about Prudie’s advice (which is often the case in the “Dear Prudence” column) is that she says to deal directly with the co-worker in question. As hard as it is to do sometimes, it’s always the best way to handle a situation that’s become a problem.
