Talking to Outside World

I referred earlier to a post from Execupundit about the importance of talking to your direct reports. Cultural Offering now offers some wisdom about talking to people outside your company or organization. Both pieces of advice make a lot of sense, because too often, whether it’s with those on the inside or outside, we assume rather than talk.

The challenge with talking or communication is always time. Ideally I would prefer to have an in person one to one conversation with everyone but the challenge is the time.
Social media makes talking to many people at the same time easier. So good work on this blog. I also use updates in Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter.
