Twain on Congress

Congress has been ridiculed a lot lately. Most of the it has been the result of health care reform legislation. Members of Congress, regardless of party or philosophy, have been called all kinds of names and shown all kinds of disrespect. Why not let a professional like Mark Twain say a few words?

“All Congresses and Parliaments have a kindly feeling for idiots, and a compassion for them, on account of personal experience and heredity.”
