Fixing a Hole — HR Song of the Week

The Beatles take us through the ordinary day of a handy man. “Fixing a hole where the rain gets in . . . . filling the cracks that run through the door . . . . painting [his] room in a colorful way.” Every employer needs someone to do little things that, all told, amount to big things or, as the song goes, “Things that weren’t important yesterday.” He’s right where he belongs as opposed to all the silly people running around.
