EEOC Settles Age Bias Case with Allstate
I recently did a post on a lawsuit the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed against AT&T alleging age discrimination. The EEOC has now announced an age discrimination settlement it reached with Allstate Insurance Company in the amount of $4.5 million. These recent actions demonstrate the EEOC’s interest in this growing area of discrimination claims and lawsuits.
