WARN Lawsuits
Yesterday, I did a post warning about the dangers of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), given all the layoffs and business closings occurring every day. These dangers aren’t merely theoretical. Lawsuits are being filed because it’s alleged that employers have violated WARN.
Class action filed against ATA Airlines, Inc. and Global Aero Logistics, Inc.
Class action filed against Goody’s Family Clothing.
Lawsuit filed against Bill Heard Enterprises, Inc.
Lawsuit filed against EOS Airlines.
Class action filed against Qimonda AG.
Class action filed against Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, LLP.
