The Necktie: It’s Alive, It’s Alive!
I’ve done my share of posts on workplace dress. (Click here, here and here.) As part of these posts, I’ve expressed alarm at the predicted death of the necktie. (Click here.) I can’t prove it, but I’m inclined to believe that the casual trend leading to the tie’s near-demise is in some way linked to our economic woes.
But wait. There’s hope. It’s provided in a recent post by Cultural Offering. Check it out, and look sharp.

John – I am right there with you on the connection between a more relaxed work place dress and some of our woes. I also predict a resurgence of better dress in the workplace as a reaction to the woes. We shall see. Thanks for linking.
