In their younger days, the Rolling Stones sang about the desire to work hard to provide luxury. The song is as much about the futility of of this kind of work as it is of luxury itself. In today’s world, it may resonate with those who used to work for it and who used to have it. For those of us still trying to work for luxury, it may have no meaning at all.
