Burke on Fear and Safety
Edmund Burke, Irish statesman, author and you name it, eventually relocated to Great Britain. He is remembered for his support of the American colonies in their dispute with King George III. He said something I wish I had paid more attention to:
“Early and provident fear is the mother of safety.”
