Fair Pay Act Ready to Become Law

The House of Representatives passed this Act (sometimes called the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act) shortly after going into session this year. The Senate passed it yesterday. Obama will definitely sign it.
I’ll have a more substantive post on this new law once it has been signed by the president. For previous posts on the Fair Pay Act, click here and here.
So, it hasn’t taken long for the new Congress to begin passing new employment laws. There was never any question that this law would be passed. Now we’ll see how many more of the proposed laws will be passed and how quickly. Stay tuned.
