Hoover on Prosperity
For some reason, I’ve been thinking about the Great Depression lately. That makes one think of the much maligned Herbert Hoover. It seemed appropriate to post a quote from Hoover, given our present economic situation. I found one that shows he was the worst President we’ve ever had or that provides wisdom we’ve yet to embrace.
“Prosperity cannot be restored by raids upon the public Treasury.”
