Du Bois on the Present

W.E.B. Du Bois was an author and civil rights activist (as well as holding many other designations).  He said a lot of things that were controversial to some, inspirational to others.  One of the things he said would fit nicely in a speech given to employees by the CEO or the head of human resources.

“It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day or future year.  It is today that we fit ourselves for the greater usefulness of tomorrow.”
