David Brent: Motivational Speaker
I’m a big fan of the American version of The Office, in which Steve Carell plays Michael Scott, the guy who runs the office. I’m a bigger fan of the earlier, English version, in which Ricky Gervais plays David Brent, the guy who runs the office. Thanks to Cultural Offering, I’m borrowing part of a favorite scene in which Brent is trying out a new career as a motivational speaker, something he’s no better at than running the office.
