Things To Do–Tip of the Week

You may prepare a list of things to do at the beginning of each week.  These are the things that are important–must get done.  Add the following to your list for this week: 

Monday–Ask an employee for advice on a problem that you need to solve. 

Tuesday–Give an employee credit for his/her role in helping solve a problem. 

Wednesday–Praise an employee who has come to you on his/her own with a suggestion for change. 

Thursday–Take responsibility for something that’s gone wrong, even it wasn’t entirely your fault. 

Friday–Interact with a new employee you don’t know. 

Saturday–Stop by to see if employees need anything to help with their jobs.
