Sunday Afternoon Stress
Employers may be trying to work with women to balance family life and work life, but they apparently aren’t willing to do much about something that’s killing us. Work-related stress.
According to a New York Times article, the stress begins for most folks every Sunday afternoon, because that’s when we start thinking about having to go back to work on Monday and wading right back into the stress we left on Friday–unless we had to work on Saturday. It seems that most everyone agrees that stress hurts our health, employee productivity, and an employer’s bottom line.
At least, newspaper reporters are writing about it. Now, if someone would do something about it.
