Check out this article from Slate Magazine that, while accurate, makes some of the legal problems Spitzer may face subject to the argument of a double standard.
Ben Stein’s commentary on TV’s Sunday Morning also examines another double standard involving the Spitzer investigation that he finds scary.
While the law isn’t free from double standards, both of the above analyses are worth reading.
