Other Blogs
There are, of course, a lot of blogs that deal more or less with the subject I write about on this blog. Check out the following for some interesting stuff:
The Wall Street Journal law blog had a post on Valentine’s day also dealing, as I did, with the subject of office romance.
So did Jon Hyman on his blog, where he takes a Business Week story and uses it to address what can be trouble.
Dan Schwartz discusses a real case involving office romance on his blog.
George’s employment blawg weighs in on this subject, asking whether it’s dreamy or dangerous.
The always quirky Infamy or Praise blog approaches Valentine’s Day by reminding us of a scene from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Julie Elgar says that, now that the writers strike has ended, she’ll get back to providing us wisdom from TV’s The Office on her that’s what she said blog.
Ross Runkel announces a new name for his blog.
I try to regularly post an HR song of the week. The Cultural Offering blog also posts songs from time to time, this one called ”Music for a Saturday” by Faron Young–the timeless “Hello Walls.” Today is Saturday.
This week, I discovered The Invent Blog, since it linked to my post on employment lessons to be learned from Bobby Knight.
The What About Clients blog has a post with the teasing title, “What if you only represented clients you actually ‘liked’?”
There’s an interesting post (February 9) on a shel of my former self about the adoption by business of social media and what that means for employee rights.
I’ve had a number of posts about the presidential election, trying to draw lessons for the workplace as well as figuring out what the election of certain candidates could mean for the area of employment law. There’s an admittedly partisan post on the I’m A Pundit Too blog called “The Civil War Within The Political Parties.” Also, check out Wills Perspective and OneVoteMatters for more political stuff.
Notes From A Country Groomer, not your typical HR or employment blog, links to my post on giving the beagle protection under the AEPA. Check it out.

Thanks for the link back to the carnival. The video was hysterical! I got a good laugh out of it and it’s a great addition to the carnival.
Thanks for the plug about the video. Being involved in this carnival is new for me, and I appreciate the opportunity to be involved. It’s not often that employment law/developments in the workplace and beagles have anything in common.
