King on Progress and Solutions
It seems fitting that this week’s quote should come from Martin Luther King. Although Dr. King was an idealist, he was quite acquainted with reality. He said something about making progress and solving problems (concepts often associated with idealism), but his quote brings with it a dose of reality. Human resources professionals and business leaders often talk about progress and solutions but also experience the reality in King’s quote.
”All progress is precarious, and the solution of one problem brings us face to face with another problem.”
