Goodman on the New Year

It seemed to me that there should be a happy new year quote worth sharing, and I think I found one that pulls together a lot of reflections that are part of our New Year’s Day each year. I think it’s a particularly good quote for human resources professionals, managers and supervisors. It’s from noted columnist and author Ellen Goodman.
“We spend Janaury 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives . . . not looking for flaws, but for potential.”
