Drugs and Lie Detectors

On December 19, I wrote a post about the Mitchell report on baseball and steroids, trying to take an employment law look at this mess.  If you watched 60 Minutes this past Sunday, you saw Mike Wallace interview Roger Clemens about the allegations against him contained in the Mitchell report.

During the interveiw, the question of whether Clemens would take a lie detector test came up.  Dan Schwartz has a great post on his blog about the use of polygraph tests in the workplace, playing off the Clemens interview.  As Dan notes, the use of the polygraph in the workplace has fallen on hard times or perhaps off a cliff.  For an update, read Dan’s post.
